Age is a weird thing. You get people in their late 40s that look 20 years older, and centenarians that could be mistaken for folk in their 60s.

The late Paul Scofield was in his 40s when he did A Man For All Seasons, and looked as if he was pushing 60; Michael Gough has always looked elderly. Walter Mattheu was never a young man.

Michael Gambon has always looked elderly, whereas Michael Caine has 'fitted' into the older parts he's recently being playing.
