Re: Hamburg
the Irish bar near the Reaperbahn is pretty lively and there are some good strip clubs just off the main drag (forget the name) where you can get your own table for private table dances if there's a few of you
you have to go to the dawn fish market on Sunday morning, it's mad, people buying fish alongside mashed up revellers bouncing along to live music
try not to be suckered by the girls on the main drag trying to drag you into shitty places, they can be very very persuasive
it is a great city to see during the day also

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester
Re: Hamburg
The Beatles landmarks are still there .. The Star Club and I think there's another where they had a residency.

IF and I do mean IF you've got a head for heights try the TV tower, that overlooks a lot of things (obviously lol) including FC St Pauli's ground.
I say IF you've got a head for heights because I haven't and was crapping myself for most of the time I was up there.
Good views just don't look down !sick!
