Thats one of the most bizarre stories i've ever heard
Since when do criminals scream at the customers to get out of the place?
You'd think this would lead to them being followed when they come out,
give people more time to call the police
19 McDonalds in a row sounds like someones got it for Ronald
I think banning hoodies is a typical knee jerk reaction
We've got a guy running around in Adelaide robbing banks(8 so far)who hasn't been caught and he wears nothing to cover his identity
Ban Hoodies?
Re: Ban Hoodies?
One of the things that makes me er, 'laugh' about this is the fact its blamed on 'hoodies' which normally means the sports tops called hoodies. However as you will see on the streets and that photo on the express site is its mostly hooded jackets which are normally worn by chavs.
Most of the kinds of people who wear actual hoodies aren't even remotely the types to commit crimes...

Stupid populist rubbish by the Daily Depress meant to appeal to Middle England and attract readers from the Daily Wail.
If the press had any real interest in reducing crime they would be talking about bringing back some discipline in homes and schools, having a magistracy and judiciary with real teeth to enable them to impose penalties which hurt - and overcrowded jails aren't the only answer - and they would be campaigning to allow total defence of one's property when under attack from any sort of thief.

Oi I wear a coat with a hood. It keeps my ears from getting cold and the rain off my hair!
To ban hoodies is ridiculous.
As if these whipper snappers are going to be any better without it. There still is LA Raiders base ball caps and shades. Ban them and they would find some other equally cool thing to wear...Like "scream" or Jason Vorhees type hockey masks....I could go on. But what difference would it make?
This is exactly what the problem is Trumpton, frightened people not willing to deal with the problem aty hand except by force. Force will always be met with force.
These little tigers out there are alienated from the system they think they are rebelling against.
The guys out there converting these guys and inspiring them to be different are friends like my social woirker mate who speaks to them on their level.
These guys see rebellion as a sport and unless someone gets out there and helps change the way things are they will constantly be the same.
A case of them and us...and it is always the us types (normal hard working folk) who will end up being the victims.
Respect always has to be earned.
Before you think I'm taking their side I've been up against a gang of these guys in a very public situation and they always greet me pleasantly (an exception to the rule I know). This was several years ago mind but these guys are no longer terrorising the neighbourhood where I used to live with their youthful shenanigans.
And I didnt do it with any veiled threats either. I meant what I said. Lucky for me they believed it. LOL

Robbing Hoodies
Quote:
"In a rampage of crime lasting months the gang has robbed 19 McDonald?s under the illusion that they are untouchable."
A correct illusion until authorities pull their finger out.
This lot seem quite committed, don't they. Ban hoodies and presumably they and their type would simply adapt to blend in accordingly.
And 19 McDonald's? What did Quentin Crisp once say of crimes of such magnitude? You're not appalled, you're impressed.

Re: Ban Hoodies?
The fact these guys rob McDonalds and think they are untouchable indicates they think people there are easy pickings and to some extent they are...Parents are going to be fearful of their children. People will be fearful for their lives in case these guys are packing blades.
It just takes on e brave copper or soldier off duty or better still some rugby mates to grab one of these guys and you'll see the rest scatter like fairies.
Did they rob the store or the people in it or both?
