Well, we've been fed the mantra for years by the bastards 'To get the best people for the job, we need to pay the best salaries'. This phrase has been used hundreds of times to justify the huge sums paid to these mediocre, arrogant incompetents who run our national institutions. Our elected representatives are now starting to use the same mantra when they are demanding pay increases way above the rate of inflation to go along with their fraudulently claimed expenses. Why do we let them get away with it time after time, paying huge bonuses to these tossers when they have so evidently failed to do the job they're supposed to do. If they seek and demand positions such as these then they should be made financially culpable if they fail, just as they would if it was their own business, but as things stand they are allowed to go into an established business or service at an extortionate salary completely incommensurate for what they actually do, without risking one penny of their own money, fuck it up and eventually leave with a huge payoff when they get another offer from another enterprise. Fuck the fuckers with a Giant Fucking stick is what I say!
