New TV ads

Post by Ace »

They do get better with time, but 2 classics in the making as far as I'm concerned are;

Citroen one with Flight of the Valkyries music and all the German links including that awesome trouser arouser frau serving a stein of lager

Vodka one with all the shit and junk from the ocean floor rising up.

Both belters!

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

That vodka one cost a bloody fortune. Good though.

The Citroen one is okay but not as good as the new Visa ad with the bare-arsed bloke dashing across country.

Two utter wash-outs though: Madonna's Sunsilk tie-in (dreary) and the new Dairy Milk ad with the airport trucks.

They got the song right (Don't Stop Me Now) but the visuals sadly underwhelm after that drumming Gorilla.

A really shit T.V. advert.

The new Cadbury's Flake ad with that annoying bint, Joss Stone. She has got to be one of the most, well, I'll say it again, a-f******g-nnoying twats on this planet.

Bring back the original Cadbury's porn ads.

Does anyone know who the actress is who seems to be in every ad going at the moment.

She's the Harveys Furniture girl, Toyota Auris, Some diarrhea tablet thing, Finish dishwashing tablets, the list goes on.

Not that i'm a stalker or anything! At first I thought it was someone I knew, now I know it probably isn't, but I need to find out just to stop myself going mad.

(Yes, i've tried google)
We have need of you again, great king.

I was under the impression that the Harveys Furniture Girl was the (half) Sister to Amanda Holden but having just had a look about the web I am not so sure now ...
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Citroen one is rubbish. If you are buying a Citroen it is because you can't afford a far better built VW, Audi etc. I like the look of the car but the French simply cannot make any of their car marques look classy.
Why extol another country?

The vodka one is too baffling and doesn't work on my brain!

Yes crusha cats is a good, funny ad. But for every good one there seems
to be 4 or 5 really annoying ads. Also re. same actress appearing in many
ads - I recall a girl that first appeared in family affairs on five. Once she
left that show she seemed to pop up in endless ads. Probably earns more
money with less stress by shooting adverts
