......for serving up moi, a neutral in this instance, a fine footballing feast- what a match, although the pen against Arsenal after the rip-roaring Walcott-Adebayor leveller was well harsh IMHO.
Loved it.
The same can be said of Carac's Dundee United, who should have given R*ng*rs a good skelping in their 3-3 thriller- try and get more points off them for us, will ya? !wink!
Mr Slater, I see you are rapidly gaining on me in the Fantasy Footie......... !grin!
I hope all is well with everyone at OT Towers. !thumbsup!
Congrats to both the Gooners and the Scousers....

Congrats indeed- now lets have a Man U- Liverpool final. In Moscow!

Yes it was a great match but the 2-2 to 2-3 events were high comedy, from Adebayor's and Arsenal's celebration of the equaliser to conceding a penalty about a minute later. Shouldn't really happen at that level should it ?
I'm not a Chelsea fan but if that had been Grant he'd have been held responsible. His selections, tactics, substitutions etc would have been analysed and he'd have doubtless been described as 'inadequate' and more. Because it's Arsene Wenger there is none of that .. Fergie, Grant, Benitez have all been subjected to it, why not Wenger ? True enough things could have been different and the introduction of Walcott could have been hailed as a masterstroke, however it doesn't really alter the fact that when papers make mischief they tend to leave Arsenal out of it.

As a Gooner it was sad to see us yet again run out of ideas. Why do we want to walk the ball into the net? Hardly anybody at Arsenal has a decent shot in them anymore.
We are a good 4 players short. Need a replacement for Henry, a mid-field battler, a top-class keeper and someone with the ability to smack it from 30 yards like Gerrard.
Wenger must be on a sticky-ish wicket now. Fans and investors expect more from such a big club.
A final in Russia could be a bit messy, the Moscow fans are a dangerous bunch and hotels are insane money.

Aye - although it's a little too late in the season to make up too much ground on you now.
Nice to see you back on the forums, Fudgio !thumbsup!
