Judging from all the Youtube stuff, expect a heavy metal Barbara Streisand.

Too long in the making, people have moved on from Axl nowadays. I expect a flop. Remember, GnR were once fantastic, but Nirvana came and went as did Chili Peppers and now Green Day.
Axl will find this one a tough one.......if its ever released............remember, Geffen have to negotiate %'s, royalties etc.....and knowing Axl's history, he'll hold out for a massive fee.
I did see GnR with Izzy Stadlin' at Milton Keynes, and they were brilliant......but that was YEARS ago.......like the Van Halen reunion.......people shrugged it off as they had grown old, lost their hair and gotten fat

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

A strange one this, what can be expected?
Of course, AFD is one of the best rock albums ever, but the good parts of Use Your Illusion's were coming from the Izzy Stradlin & Slash camp, the likes of November Rain were an abberation - dull, over-produced & practically soulless with only the air of genuine paranoia offering a real edge. They maintained their credibilty post-grunge by the fact that AFD was so good, they lived the rock'n'roll lifestyle truly and as people they had a genuine edge, but how on all these years later and with all the decent rocking band members long gone along with his hair (he sports hair extensions'n'bandana) Axl will manage to convince then it will have to be masterpiece, anything less is a failure

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
