Adult channels face crackdown

Post by Robhood »

Just read on Ceefax that quiz channels, psychic channels and free-to-air adult chat channels are facing a 'Crackdown' from Ofcom.

Well Thank God, we can all sleep easier in bed now, knowing that OFCOM are "cracking down". Shame the tossers don't crack down on crooks like Ant and Dec and others fleecing the stupid public for millions through their dumb phone competitions.

Even now people are still able to phone in after the quizz has ended and waste their money. I'm no telecoms engineer, but i'm damn sure it's technically possibel to pull a FUCKING PLUG OUT after a comp has finished so as the dumb chavs get an engaged tone!

Thats all well and good but the problem with this is that it is going to put all the girls who work on those shows out of work as well as staff behind the camera and admin.

Thing is unless these shows are subscribed to I cannot see them making money any other way.
