I am a fuly paid-up idiot. And I have the receipts to prove it.
So, as follows: , register (for about ?7 a month, no comments from hackers and other assorted cheapskates, please)......go to 'Tools'/'Accounts'/News Servers' in OE, and add the new acccount details, hit Easynews, and search 'adult'.......and then the porn-world's your maarine mollusc of the day.
So simple even I managed it.

i don't know about the quality of virgin's newsgroup server but most isp freebie offerings are pretty poor, suffering from dropped posts (especially important with regard to multi-part mpeg files), lousy retention (how long posts stay on a server so you can read/download them) and newsgroups that simply aren't listed.

if you opt for a paid service, you should expect substantial improvements in all those areas and if you're not happy just try someone else.
