The Lavender Hill Mob ...

Post by crofter »

Is being remade now how are they hoping to come close to the original with a cast list like this some things imho should be left alone and these ealing classics should be top of the list - it is like playing with fire.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Why do they feel the need to remake these classic comedy films? The recent record isn't good.

Blimey! I'd forgotten that Audrey Hepburn appeared in the original version.

I read today that the F**king yanks are remaking the TV Series "The Prisioner".

You just know the remake is going to be a pile of shit.

Why do they bother ?

I gave the Ladykillers remake a second chance because I still couldn't believe the Coens could make two bad films in a row.

... and it's okay. Not a patch on the original but certainly not terrible. Suffers from some bad casting and a script that isn't funny or dark enough.

I only watched it for about 10 minutes and had to switch off - it was THAT bad. !thumbsdown! What on earth persuaded Tom Hanks to appear in this dire pile of rubbish ?
