In fairness to you Don, After being unimpressed with the you tube clip I did have a read of the lyrics.
I'm still none the wiser to be honest as too what the attraction is.

But to be honest there aren't many acts I would wish to see live these days, I listened to a few on the BBC broadcasts and they just seem so poor compared to their studio recordings.

It's not called fuss,it's called debate. That's why we're here. Some people like Jay-Z,some don't.He did an excellent collaboration with Linkin Park a few years ago,'Numb Encore' i think the song was.

It's mainly Rock/Brit Pop acts that headline at Glastonbury.Michael Eavis is probably looking for a new culture at Glastonbury, which will not go down well with the Rock fans.

Snoop Dogg at Live8 is a perfect example.

Should be a good summer for music. What with Iron Maiden playing at Twickenham,as well as R.E.M,and The Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium, and The V Festival at Chelmsford. All concerts i've missed out on.

I saw Muse at Wembley Stadium last year.Best concert i've been too !thumbsup!

Just want to clarify that whilst I do not like hip hop or the related genre of artists associated with hip hop, I just feel that something like the aforementioned music has no place at an established festival like Glastonbury in my opinion which is renowned for guitar acts and indie acts.

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

Spot on Ace.The Arctic Monkeys,Kasabian,The Fratellis,Killers and The Who totally rocked the place last year.

Will be interesting to see if any new bands like The Enemy will be playing there this year.Ace wrote:

It just seems he and his ilk are out of place with the thing that Glastonbury has become.

Just as perhaps James Taylor, however good he is at what he does, would be out of place at the Notting Hill carnival, or a Gatecrasher event.
We have need of you again, great king.
