Man U came for a draw and go it
No Ronaldinho means Barcelona aren't omniprescent anymore
Messi was creative as always but the other hotshots
deco, etto looked totally out of sorts.
While the head says Chelsea at Home i wouldn't back them against liverpool
History says chelsea dont beat Liverpool in Europe. If not for Cech in goal Liverpool could have scored 4/5 goals
The Kiss of death.....Man U v Liverpool final
John Arne Riise
Re: John Arne Riise
My predictions (for what they're worth):
ManUre 1 Barca 1 (Barca through on away goals)
Chelsea 1 Liverpool 1 (Liverpool through on pens)
Final: Barca 2 Liverpool 1

Fair do's Eric.I don't expect anyone other than Bob and Ace to be rooting for Chelsea on Wednesday.Though i would of thought the London football fans to be on Chelsea's side.
I certainly was rooting for Arsenal to beat Barca in the 2006 final, and West Ham to beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final of the same year. It's what Londoners do.
chatterji:That Barca shirt you bought in 2006 might come in handy again this year.I bet you're gagging to wear that one more !wink!

To be honest Mike I'm pretty neutral, and as such I don't really mind who goes through.
It's just that I have this feeling in my water, which is what my prediction is based on, rather than any anti-Chelsea sentiment.
Same way as I have a feeling that Barca will end up winning it - even though I'd much prefer to see any of the (nominally!) English sides lift the trophy. So I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong on that.

Re: John Arne Riise
Still Barca for me, results over recent years have shown that a 0-0 draw is one of the better results you can achieve, I think Barca will definately score at Old Trafford so that leaves United needing two.
I don't see the Barcelona defence being as weak as some pundits were expecting either - especially with the excellent Puyol back in the fold so it all points to Barcelona Vs Chelsea in the final for me ... as surely Liverpool have had the wind taken out of their sales with that 95th minute o.g.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
Re: John Arne Riise
Puyol's an animal crofter. He'll snap Ronaldo's legs off and bully Rooney/Tevez without battering an eyelid.
He's a Maldini,Terry all in one.A top defender indeed.

Re: John Arne Riise
Puyol's been fucking awful this season and I actually think Marques is a better all round defender. I think Rooney -if played upfront- has a big chance of making a mug out of Puyol at OT.
We'll see.
We'll see.
