I agree with you on the last bit but unfortunately I can see why some won't.
The trouble with debate is it involves most being or at least thinking they are 100% right about their point.
When you've made posts no doubt you will have thought I am right especially if they have opened with a point and not asking a question.
It could even be argued that creating why can't we all getting along posts is an admittance to being wrong on other subjects with this done to deflect some of the negatives.
I am baffled why you would think asking for us all to get a long has anything to do with religion and the other issues mentioned because it has absolutely nothing to do with it.
I am not remotely interested in what anyones religion is its the point that they make or try to make that counts.

There are those who may feel that starting a thread like this is in itself trolling - in the sense that it appears to be specifically aimed at bringing about some sort of response / reaction from certain parties.
You know: saying "come on chaps let's all get along" - while at the same time taking a thinly disguised pop at other posters (if I know who you're talking about, I'm sure they do as well).
