Question of Sport

Post by Ace »

I haven't had a Victor Meldrew rant for at least a week now, so its long overdue.
I watched this for the first time in years tonight and what a shower of shite it is compared to what it used to be!!
Two-bob guests trying to raise a chuckle with piss-poor gags that even the cheapest Xmas cracker factory would reject.
Sue Barker fluttering her eyes at the rugby player Matt Dawson, which says a lot about how much her old man is giving her....you'd think she'd learn after her failed 'romance' with Cliff 'shirtlifter' Richard.......I recall she had leathery skin a few years ago, so she's obviously a botox fan!!
At least with the guests questions, you'd think the BBC would TRY and test them, but I'm no expert on golf, snooker or tennis and I answered most the questions easy enough!
If the BBC continues to commission this bilge, then I'd suggest a BBC3 slot or a Tuesday afternoon after 'Doctors' instead of a prime slot on a Friday night!!
Tufnell looks liked he'd taken advantage of the hospitality.......again!
Still, it gets worse, Jonatan Ross is on later!!

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

the writing was on the wall for this series once Ally McCoist got a proper job. Dawson is an arsehole.

This is another case of letting a programme run for too long.
Unfortunately the TV companies tend to do this. I am sure readers can think of many that fall into this category.
Mine would be " Last of the Summer Wine " and "My Family"

The last time I viewed QoS was back in the days when it was chaired by David 'That's Quite Remarkable' Coleman.

I haven't watched it since Botham was on it. It's a pile of shite now.
Although i did catch it a few years ago when Frank Skinner was on it.

They were on the picture round and the picture was of a young woman athlete sitting on some rocks on a beach.

Frank turned and said to Sue that he has a picture at home of her sitting on a cliff.

lol
