Getting started in Porn...

Hi all,

I'm trying to get started in porn. Not just as a "stud", but I'd like to get into production too.

I figured the best and easiest way into porn would be from the bottom - start small, gain some experience, learn a few lessons the hard way, then see where it takes me.

Anyway, that hasn't proved too fruitful so far.

My current plan is still to work through a website. Stills and video MPEGs, gain the experience and as I said, see where it takes me.

I'm growing more and more frustrated with this approach and I'm beginning to have second thoughts about doing the "stud" thing. For one, I aint blessed with the hugest of appendages (to put it bluntly!) On top of that, I can't seem to find anybody willing to work with me on my project...

Has anybody else got any alternative ideas and any advice.

Getting into porn has been an ambition since my mid-teens. This isn't something of a whim... I've never had the contacts and I've never known where to mix... Pleae help me guys!

Well then the website production idea sounds good. Why not try and think up some original ideas, pretty difficult but you never know. Then go to agencies, model forums etc looking for models for your productions and away you go. Maybe some organised photography club shoots would be good to get your experience going. As for hosting a website, take your pick of companies offering their services.
Plus, you can always ask genuine, topic related questions here and with the right amount of liquid bribes I'm sure people will help you out.

I've got webspace sorted - overseas adult hosting and all that jazz... kinda jumped the gun a little on that score! I've also got the necessary skills to produce a quality site... I've produced many websites over the last 3-4 years or so - but this is my first foray into the porn world and the first website I'll be building for myself as opposed to one for somebody else.

I too thought it would be a pretty decent idea, but nobody seems willing to roll with it. I'm genuinely considering either ditching the website or atleast putting it on the backburer until I've made some contacts in the porn world and maybe even worked in it... not as a stud! I think that's a non starter.

I've bought a mini digital video camera specifically for my project. One idea I have had is to offer my services to any producers out there as "an extra camera man"! Obviously the DV tapes will be handed over on completion of the days shooting etc - the tapes would NOT be for my use. In return I'd be gaining experience and making contacts in the industry. Obviously I would expect no payment but would hope that maybe I'd be given the opportunity to learn from the experienced production crew.... Is that a viable idea?

A case of Scotch (check with him which brand!) offered as a bribe MIGHT get Marcus Allen to pass on a few pearls of wisdom. He also has contacts with girls who may perform on video with you.

As I said earlier though, I think my dream of being a stud is quite literally that.. just a dream. I'm 31, my equipment isn't of stud proportions and I'm probably a bit old for starting out now...

Yeah, I'd like to feature on my website, but I think I'm gonna need more contacts and more experience before any girls are gonna take me serious.

This subject has been discussed many times.

The only intelligent/knowlegable "observation" I can make is this:

Unless you have a few thousand pounds to "speculate" or in other words - gamble-forget the whole thing.

As with any business venture, this biz is a gamble; a speculation; some you win, some you lose.

I would have replied to you privetly except that Many Others have posted the same question, so perhaps this will answer all.

A military tour or two in NI,A lot of work for DS then Galaxy and being in the right place @ the right time. Bumping into Terry was no harm either!
