After giving Alan White the push for the services of a 'Beatles Son', it looks like the Gallaghers have now fallen out with Zak Starkey, his replacement but always an 'unofficial band member'
Smacks of Spinal Tap.... and also smacks of Status Quo. You know, Quo that band who were pretty good for a while, and lost their rhythm section who fell out of favour when their material went downhill, got some new boys in and spent the rest of their career trading on past glories, with the occasional 'return to form' that isn't really.
Except Quo are only on their third drummer, Oasis will be having to line up a fourth.....
Quoasis fall out with Zak Starkey
Quoasis fall out with Zak Starkey
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
Re: Quoasis fall out with Zak Starkey
Oasis don't really exist any more do they? I think Noel has run out of Beatles songs to copy.
Re: Quoasis fall out with Zak Starkey
How long before they're doing an original line-up tour with Bonehead, Guigsy and the maligned Tony McCarroll. There was a time when they were relevant; they were never innovative although they had some killer songs. That's all long gone in my view. I can't see Zak being too arsed about it.

You mean 'Whatever'? LOL
Noel was successfully sued by Neil Innes for ripping off one of his tunes for Whatever (a golden period that, remember that Uptight (EVerything's Alright) re-write Step Off that he passed off as his own song and removed from Morning Glory at last minute (eventually released on the Don't Look Back In Anger cd single with a heavily revised song-writing credit)
Everytime I hear The Rutles songs I hear Oasis, esp. that All You Need Is Love spoof 'Love Life' !grin!
