Sorry i have been away for a few days and havnt had access to a comp, for the Win Tv you dont need Scart to USB as the device outputs to USB you would need scart to svideo unless your vhs can output in svideo in which case you could plug it straight into the device but you will need a seperate lead for the audio these come with the device and you would need an adaptor to connect to you vhs.

Mike, reading down your post i can see that you only have a scart output on your vhs therefore if you wanted to load your film onto the comp using a WinTV device you would also need one of these to connect to the device
