Is "Go now" from the first LP? One of my all time faves I must say. Better than all that "Prog Rock" tosh they turned out later on!!

Excellent LP. Funnily enough I have just re-bought it along with a Spencer Davis Group LP of the same vintage. They have reminded me of what a great scene the London R&B club circuit was in the early sixties.

The Moodies debut album is a supreme slice of mid-60's R&B, a real gem.

However I rate their 67-72 output as well, though like many bands their celebrated longevity is meaningless in relation to their output since the mid-70's, which has produced the odd decent track and loads of slop that doesn't make the grade qualiy-wise.
Mystic Mike Pinder had the right idea, he retired from the group shortly after recording their 1978 'come-back' album

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
