Theological quandary

Post by Pervert »

During the final, in spite of being an atheist, I offered a little prayer to any passing supreme being to end the game perfectly---a John Terry own goal. Given Terry's involvement in the outcome, should I now join the Church of the Perpetual Trouser-Press and devote my life to tambourine playing, or treat the whole thing as a fortunate happenstance?

Ah, but 'ole Harry won the FA Cup and I bet you were praying for the opposite!

The trouser-press is a load of tosh....orbiting teapots are the future!

Yeah, the trouser-press let me down last Saturday.

Hope he's working Thursday night, though. I could even stomach Aberdeen winning if it stops THEM winning the league and means I don't feel guilty about United taking points off Celtic.

That's okay---I never had any :-)

What do you expect---it's 3am, and my legs have only just dried as a result of an accident after the Terry penalty.

well enough of the puns!

I mean, I could say your support against Terry was 'parmesan' (partisan.....geddit?...oh never mind... i mean how many puns about pasta can you get?) in it's militancy!
