BNP Wants 42 day limit abolished
Re: BNP Wants 42 day limit abolished
You just have to look at apartheid in South Africa, and even the sundown towns in the US, which survived for some years after the civil rights movement.

.Hey Al you may have a point..And when they're done with everybody they hate and then theres just only white people they will suddenly realise they just hated people.
Oh I forgot its not really about white people as the irish are white. The scots are white. French are white and americans...
Its refreshing to know white people hate white people too. Thats true equality.

Re: BNP Wants 42 day limit abolished
On the issue of what the BNP would like to do, there is no way they could do any of those things anyway - even if they were the Government. A prime minister would never have the power to just chuck out every ethnic minority person in Britain even if he wanted to. There would be major pressure for a PM to quit if he just said something controversial about ethnic minority people, never mind try and rid the country of them! There would be such a rebellion in the political party, there would be major condemnation from the media and every other Western leader, etc. The Queen can also fire the PM if she wants to and that would occur in such a situation - but, like I say, it would never get that far. So even if the BNP were the Government there would be little they could really do.
Re: BNP Wants 42 day limit abolished
Whenever I comment on the pathetic BNP the usual idiots here accuse me of being racist.
The fact that I have an immigrant grandparent and would be on the next boat after the BNP's first choices counts for little as does the fact that I sponsor several kids from different countries, so thanks max for saying most of what I have said.
To gain some understanding of the BNP mentality can I suggest a visit to their website:
and if you really want to see them in action, as in a voice in politics, that you watch the London Assembly meetings on the BBC's parliament channel.
The opening line of their Mission Statement sums it up really:
The British National Party exists to secure a future for the indigenous peoples of these islands in the North Atlantic which have been our homeland for millennia.

"The British National Party exists to secure a future for the indigenous peoples of these islands in the North Atlantic which have been our homeland for millennia."
But Cornwall, Ireland, Wales and Scotland already have their own dedicated parties. So what do we need the BNP for? Or do they mean securing a future for the descendants of the Scandinavian, German and French invaders?
One branch of my family tree came from elsewhere in Europe. Some posters here have similar backgrounds, some have roots from the Caribbean, Asia, or Africa. The British are a mongrel people. It's been that way for millennia. Pretending otherwise is just naive.

Re: BNP Wants 42 day limit abolished
andy. I think what the BNP are saying in their mission statement about wanting to secure a future for the naitve people of the UK does not somehow imply they want less for any other race here, or want to expel them. When people see their whole way of life, culture, language and traditions disappearing - after those things have existed within that area for centuries - then they are bound to freak out about it. The main 3 political parties are content to allow this to happen, support immgrant cultures and traditions and are happy to see the culture and traditions of the indigeonous population just disappear.
If you walk around London, you don't hear anyone speaking English anywhere - in the street, on a bus, anywhere. Christmas lights go up in far less towns than they used to because of not wanting to upset minorities, office Christmas parties in Leicester aren't called 'Christmas parties' but 'end of year celebrations' due to the city's 'racial mix'. It wont be long until Christmas isn't even mentioned anymore, like in America. In America its called 'the holiday season' - the President never mentions Christmas but talks of 'the holiday season' and if you get a Christmas card from an American it always says 'happy holidays'. That will be us within a decade.
I think it is good that there is a party who want to retain all things British and not see it destroyed. Like I said, the main three parties are happy to have this happen. They bend over backwards to suck up to minorities and largely ignore the indigeonous population. When Ken Livingstone was the Mayor of London there were massive ethnic minority festivals happening to mark their various days during the year - yet St George's Day was very minor. We have the highest immigration into the UK now in it's history, they are having to build the equivilant of a city the size of Hull every year just to house them all. None of the main three parties could care less. The BNP are the only people who (seemingly) stand up for the indigeonous population, and therefore it is hardly surprising that some people vote for them. If the main three cared about the native people's customs, heritage and traditions, support for the BNP would drop hugely.

It's not just naive, it's pathetic!

With regard Christmas parties, what exactly is the Christian aspect of them? Unless you take time out to sing hymns or have a prayer session within the party, does it really matter what it is called?
America calls that time of year the holiday season because there are festivals from other religions at that time, too, and it seeks to be inclusive. No one has an objection to Christmas, per se, but there are other holy times for other religions.
I've been advocating for years that the English take back possession of their flag and celebrate what they have given to the world. St Patrick's Day is a celebration, the Welsh celebrate St David's Day, and there are moves afoot to hike up the importance of St Andrew's Day up here. The English people have a lot to be proud of, and to boast about. But they have to claim back their flag from those who have made it an exclusive symbol for their own agenda of hatred and xenophobia.
You gave the world Shakespeare and Dickens, Newton and Hawking and Farraday, Blake and Turner . . . there's a lot to celebrate. So do so.

Re: BNP Wants 42 day limit abolished
Load of tripe.
If people have less Christmas parties it's more likely due to the continued secularisation of society and companies cutting costs!
Most east European immigrants are more religious than western Europe, whether they're Christian, Muslim or Jewish. The Muslims see Jesus as a prophet and have no issues whatsoever with Christmas.
There may be some things about western culture certain communities within these isles have issue with, but it's certainly not Christmas.
