And Buffon stuck with Juve when they got relegated. He could have easily moved to another club but stayed loyal.

The Juve Ultras are very much right wing Sam.They hate us English with a passion too.Even more since Heysell.

The Lazio Ultras are extreme neo-nazi.The litarature on their flags and banners on matchdays prove that.Sam Slater wrote:

It's no secret that in Italian football, the fans do have alot of power. The fans groups in Italy are taken far more seriously than the fans groups over here.

Some cases, especially with the big clubs such as Lazio,Juve,Milan etc,the supporters have even stormed the training ground whenever the club has suffered a humilliating defeat,or is going for a poor run of form.

Also in Italy, the fans rule the Stadium on matchdays, the Police are even scared to enter the stands or 'curvas' where the Ultras take their position.

This is a similar practice in South America too, especially with the Notorious Boca Juniors and River Plate fans.

These fans mean business.

One of the disappointing aspects of watching the live games on Channel 4 on a Sunday afternoon in the late 1990s was how often fans armed with bats or chains would get involved in a barney with the police, or some arsehole would fire a rocket on to the pitch. How do these cretins gain admittance to the grounds?

Like i said, the authorities are powerless to stop them.

It's alleged that in Italy, some Italian players have links with Ultras.Paulo Di Canio to name but one.

Who remmebers 10/12 years ago?, when a group of Inter Milan fans managed to sneak in a moped inside the San Siro, then use it as a missile by hurling it from the upper tier.Luckily it did'nt hit anyone.Don't ask me how they got a moped inside a football ground.

Other incidents include AC Milan goalkeeper Dida was struck on the back of the head by a flare thrown by rival Inter Milan fans during a Champions League semi final match in 2004.

Rioting broke out on the streets of Turin and Milan in 2006 when the outcome of the Matchfixing scandal was released.Milan got a massive points deduction, while Juventus were demoted to Serie B.

Last year an Italian policeman was killed after fighting between two rival gangs. This sparked the Serie A programme to be cancelled for a few weeks because police refused to police the matches due to fear of their safety.

I tell you,they're mad over there.Caractacus wrote:
