Just as well, because remembering how to spell Tsvangirai would be a nightmare!

Why do other World leaders welcome Mugabe to their country's with open arms and give him the red carpet treatment?

The bullying Yanks as well as their lapdogs in Blighty won't sort out Mugabe because there's nothing they would gain from it,ie:Oil.Only the people of Zimbabwe would benefit from being rid of a nasty piece of work.

It's obvious that the head honchoz of this world simply do not care one jot about Zimbabwe.

But Mike, aren't you impressed with our government's firm and decisive stance on this issue?

The government has stripped Mugabe of a British knighthood he was given in 1994 and also said they will block the Zimbabwe cricket tour to England next year.

Surely you are right behind our government in their way that they have risen to the occasion on this issue?

Well I was being sarcastic about our government's "decisive" action, but about Mugabe it doesn't need an assassination to get rid of him, just a free and fair election.

Sounds like job for a United Nations peacekeeper force.

A UN force should be able to maintain order whilst an election is held.

I've noticed on a few radio show phone-ins this week, including Radio 4, people feel free to express the view that Mugabe should be assassinated - and they receive no condemnation whatsoever, as if it's just a point of view. Try expressing that view about politicians closer to home - or leaders of factions who would like to kill us, and you'd get two years in Pentonville I suppose .... and probably deserve it. The rule seems to be if they're an external enemy you are free to say whatever you want and are exempt from any laws, but get too close to home and you're nabbed - obvious double standards..

In reality there's no real difference between Zimbabwe and some of the other regimes we support, it's just they've pissed the British government off - we still allow murder to go on elsewhere in the world, support foul dictatorships - and keep quiet about it.
