Football....why am I so surprised? I thought it was going to be something serious, like the fact he gassed the gippos and antisocials. Wish I could actually understand what he was saying. Downfall sounds like an interesting movie.

Downfall is a superb film. Well worth watching.

I think the Vista one is better than the football version - in particular the subtitles occasionally match bits of the orginal sound.

Downfall is indeed an excellent film. Both my torrent and DVD versions have subtitles so I would recommend it to everyone... Fantastic performances all round

From what I can see it's the closest thing we'll ever get to see what the mad bastard was really like. In the final days the creep's personality was especially interesting, giving orders to armies which didn't exist, generals who were dead and going into crazed tantrums.

I thought this was pretty shit, as it makes no attempt to use the soundtrack which make it easy to write whatever you want, and the subtitles reitertate the same 'jokes' again and again.

Call me old-fashioned, but the stuff about wops and dagos, and that Ronaldo should die of AIDS, didn't really raise a smile. If you're a real Red you probably have a bit more respect for your manager and for the player who single-handedly gave you the League title.

Yes I thought Downfallwas a very good movie but then I'm a sucker for a lot of well made movies about the great World Wars and I've even read (but not yet finished) Mein Kampf.

No I'm not a radical. I do find Hitler fascinating but I am not a fascist either.

Its good to educate oneself so one knows what one is talking about. Too many people spout off rubbish about what they do not know about. Evil is very complex and if anybody has read the book I certainly dont think he was a bad guy all the way. Definitely a cautionary tale

Hitler was a lunatic genius. Its just a shame he didnt put it into something more constructive than destructive.

Hate maybe a more powerful emotion than love because it consumes all in its path. Even Der Fuhrer in the end with all their "loved" ones.
