BBFC

Re: BBFC
The answer is simple. Do not send them any films! I see it as the duty of all good men, and that includes most of the contributors to this forum, with a few notable exceptions, to protect them from their own warped minds! I see that the poor dears are now having to have psychological help to get them through the trauma of having to watch porn for up to eight hours a day. ARE THEY MAD? Any sad guys out there who would willingly take on this job should send their details to me and I will forward them to the BBFC with a copy to Mr. Blur, he?s a good friend, and I know he will be pleased with the response from this distinguished body.
If you look at the logicality of certification of the sex act it is quite likely to create trauma, just the fact that you are paid to watch it should be a celebration of one of the greatest joys that life can bestow on a mere randy mail. Of course it could be that these poor sops were damaged before they went to work in Soho Square.
As for winning appeals against them, surely life has more important things to offer, like picking the crap from between the lines on the sole of your shoes, or counting the number of glasses of the amber nectar sunk by Marcus on a good night. Now these are worthwhile things to do and I think that any man who can devote his time to them would soon be able to hold his head up high, even if he does have to admit to his mother that he is involved in censoring and controlling what adults may see and listen to.
One had hoped that by the year 2002 we would have progressed beyond this not so subtle form of mind control, evidently your leaders still think you need to be cosseted and shielded from the reality of life. For my money, I would not certificate a video, (what and let the fat men who run our licensed sex shops offer me ?2 for it. I?d rather bin it) and I most certainly would not wish to watch one that has been morally cleansed by this bunch of psychologically challenged twats. They are a profit making organisation, a registered company no less; I do hope they are not embroiled in one of these nasty accounting scandals like a lot of their corporate buddies.
For the record, I did in fact win an appeal against the BBFC, the very first in fact, back in the days when it was all a jolly joke which would soon die a death, I think what swung it was that some old dear had to admit she did not even posses a video recorder. Oh dear!
PS My new e-mail address came about because the prats at BT Open world have taken it upon themselves to cut me off for sending out SPAM mail. ME?

Now, now, Chaps,
Taking the piss out a feller's moniker is definately not cricket. Their exalted parents thought long and hard about the matter -after they had registered them at Eton Harrow etc. Imagine having a HouseCaptain called Fred or Leroy.
As for you Remmy, you have no compassion. These gentle, devoted souls donate their time and effort to keep our Nation clean and free from the corruption that people like you and others (I COULD NAME NAMES!!!)would otherwise inflict on an unsuspecting public. In return, they receive abuse and trauma offset only by a very large salary and unlimited expenses. Their only TRUE reward is in the Hereafter. It is with this latter in mind that I would gladly donate MY services to the Cause by sending them there as quickly as possible with a minimum of fuss and further suffering.
(Unlike you Remmy, I am a man of compassion).

O/T "Spam" Mail Problem
I had a similar problem with mass mailings (which are not spam). My ISP has decided that a single sending to more than 40 addresses is spam. They will not deliver the messages and, in case of constant attempts, will cut you off. I think that Yahoo and MSN think / do the same. This is also how Hotmail etc. block incoming spam. For "legitimate" senders, my ISP will give a derogation (against proof) but not so some others. I now have some software which automatically cuts mass sendings into "packets" of 20 )or your choice) names. This gets by the outgoing restriction and, usually, any incoming limit.
