Like any series of that genre Steve it all comes down to whether you like the main character,in this case played by David Jason

David Jason is OK and interestingly they didn't give him sidekick

I find John Thaw as Inspector Morse more interesting but each to their own

I echo Buttsie on this, it depends if you like the main actor. Now, personally I can't stand David Jason who off-camera is a horrid little man. I've never been keen on John Nettles either, so Midsomer Murders can piss off as well. Now, I liked John Thaw a lot, so as much as Morse can drag on, he makes it better viewing. I like Kevin Whately, but hate Lewis as its a shameless cash-in on Morse.

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

Holy fuck Steve "A Touch of Frost" is now in Season 14 so let's be honest if it has taken you until the last couple of episodes to feel Ok (about it) I really don't know quite what to say - maybe you should be watching something else buddy.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

I've heard (read) that he's fond of having the odd sherbet or three, or four, or five.
