Complicated mathematical problems my arse. It's a bit of mental arithmetic, with all answers below 1000. Furthermore, frequently these days when I have watched the show, she can't even get the answer out. Back in the 80's she could almost always do it. I suppose time has caught up with her little grey cells.

I thought she only recieved a 3rd class degeee, which is in fact a failure - you get that just for turning up. But as for Countdown - the las time I saw it was in the 80's, so I won't miss her.

my mate got a 3rd also on the proviso that he well and truly 'left' the university. Carol was clearly a piss poor engineer. Not really surprising. Another friend teaches her daughter French and Carol mischievously asked him to do more oral in class...3rd class or not, you would....
