It was amazing. Simply the greatest superhero film ever. It even transends being a superhero film, it's a crime movie, which happens to feature guys dressed as a bat and a clown. What Heat is to crime movies The Dark Knight is to Superhero movies.

It's very much an ensemble piece, and very much about Gotham City itself. I really liked the way it featured the police, they seem very real and their policy of non involvement with The Batman even though everyone knows that they are! Love it.

And the ending, with what Batman does. What he takes on his shoulders, for the good of the city, in order to give hope to it's people. Wow, brilliant. I've never seen that in any batman movie or comic book. That's what I call a sacrifice.

You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Can't wait to see it again! And would anyone like to see a magic trick?

I saw it at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I only have to minor gripes with the movie.....

Firstly the editing at the start of the film was a little 'sloppy' and it felt like some scenes were cut to make the story move faster.

Secondly is Gotham City itself, aside from a few signs and the cop cars with GPD there was just no feeling of this being the Gotham from Batman Begins, it felt like a completely different location which is a shame because it had real character in the first movie.

Aside from that it was pretty much a flawless movie.

Heath Ledger was indeed amazing in the film, and although he's hardly been mentioned in reviews I thought that Gary Oldman was exceptional and deserves as much praise as Heath.

Most summer blockbuster movies disappoint me and I was secretly worried that this would suffer the same but thankfully it didn't, its a brilliant film.

being a comic book fan anyway I have to say this film is amazing.

The first one was good but this is the batman film that fans have always wanted. Its Dark and back to the best. It builds on the first one and ties that up and Health Legar, I can't beleive how good he was, althought when hi and christain Bale were on screen together, they were both good together, its just a shame that we will not see him again as the joker as I think the plan was to have him back in another film.

I would like to see a third however I really think it will be hard to top this one to be honest and when the 3rd of any film comes around, its usually not as good.

However for a comic book fan Nolan makes everything seem as real and true to life as possible without taking away the comic book angle out of the film.

Amazing, seen it twice already and the money its made, its breaking records left right and center and have over taken Iron man in under 10 days.

now thats good, lets hope it can keep on making more, anything to sink Titanic.

I thought it was fantastic and blew all other comic book movies out of the water.
I was lucky enough to watch it in an I-MAX theatre which probably enhanced the experience even more.
