As a teenage boy, I was so infatuated with her it was hilarious. My mum found this poem I'd written pouring out my love for her in my bedroom. Talk about embarrassing!

I still play her stuff on a regular basis, except these days I also appreciate songs like Army Dreamers and Running up That Hill, whereas I didn't like them at first.

I wonder how many here remember seeing her on a Kenny Everett sketch in about 1979 where he was talking to her, but she was talking to someone else.
