When a program or software is uninstalled from your computer what actually happens to it?
For example:
I tried to uninstall the Norton Spyware Scan software from my computer. I went into Add/Remove on my Control Panel, but it would not/could not be uninstalled as I received a message from Windows saying that I needed to verify that I had sufficient privileges to perform the uninstall procedure.
However, after I installed Revo Uninstaller, I was able to uninstall Norton. But where does the uninstalled program go? Is it "crushed"?
Technical Question.
Re: Technical Question.

Thanks Scaly !happy!
I'm fine. As I was saying to colonel, I don't post much here these days - although I always read your posts in a non-stalking fashion. !blush!

Re: Technical Question.
I've been laying off the pies recently after I had problems when I ate a big juicy steak & mushroom one - I suffered from a long and protracted burping session. !blush!
