The first was patchily amusing but largely turgid, the second I've never seen. And doesn't Bill Murray only do serious films these days? This usually involves standing in front of the camera looking as bored as the audience (Lost in Translation - what pretentious twaddle).

Actually, the Hollywood suits might have the right idea for once. Instead of trying to remake something that would be difficult to improve on, take something that actually wasn't much cop to begin with (but is fondly remembered) and make a better job of it.

Elsewhere, Disney are going ahead with Tron 2 (or TR2N, as it's called). Same theory applies.
