Ok guys
As some of you know I used to run a site called celebritiesrus.com and I am now building another one in its place. Now I have a re-direct in place so when people go to celebritiesrus.com they are re-directed to the new site. That works fine
But if someone goes to a sub page from within celebritiesrus.com for example the Adele Stephens Menu I had. The re-direct simply replaces the celebritiesrus.com bit with the new url but leaves the rest as is. So all I get is a 404 error
Is it possible to make all the pages of celebritiesrus.com re-direct back to the index page of the new site?
Did that make any sense at all???
Cheers if you can help

Edit your 404 page to redirect to the new site.
Anyone hits the 404... They find themselves at the new site...
Job done

Add a line to your .htaccess file to use the 301 function:
# redirect from old domain to new domain
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.new-domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
# redirect from old domain to new domain
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.new-domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
quis custodiet ipsos custodes
