Fergal Sharkey disappeared about 20 years ago - then a few weeks ago he popped up complaining of people d/l from file sharing sites, in an official capacity. Obviously he needs some job and Geldof /Boner have the African famine/poveerty thing sown up.

Well he would wouldn't he as Chairman if British Music Rights and has a long track record in the music industry in a non pop group capacity. Dunno about you but I think that qualifies him to have an opinion on the subject?

It does, but I'd never heard of him for 20 about years, so never knew he was chairman of whatever organisation. I just heard him on a news bullitin banging on about illegal downloads. Although I doubt whether his opinions on the subject will deter many teenagers from filling their ipods with illegal music.
