Have they lost their frequency, Kenneth?
Re: Have they lost their frequency, Kenneth?
'Fables of the Reconstruction' was the best album no ?
Re: Have they lost their frequency, Kenneth?
I loved REM for a few albums, but felt they'd lost the plot with the dire CD that I can't remember now a few years ago.
Stipe is excellent though, excellent front man.
Bill Berry, he had a brain problem, internal heamorrage if I remember. Lives on a farm now, but he's got a few bob, he won't be looking for a part time job

Re: Have they lost their frequency, Kenneth?
Stipe is an excellent egotistical cunt-cum-front-man for sure...
Re: Have they lost their frequency, Kenneth?
He's got a few bob because REM did the right thing and shared the songwriting/publishing credit - Berry/Buck/Mills/Stipe. You gotta admire that.
Who else did that? Echo & The Bunnymen I think, Pulp maybe ? Can anyone think of others ?

Re: Have they lost their frequency, Kenneth?
Sex Pistols did that as well, equal credit, and on The Clash's 'Combat Rock' whilst the work was Strummer/Jones, it was credited as The Clash meaning Headon and Simonon also got 25% royalties as well.
