Green Protesters, an idea?

Post by Fan of Nudes »

Hi All & Sorry,

I have heard that a few Green protesters have been arrested on trip to a protest for Green issues.

My post is here to ask : Why can't some nice brown field site be given to these people , with no services, or pumbing or any other modern requirement ,no transport , call it a Town , then tell them get on a live in it , If they survive well lessons have been learned, if not Oh well, next green welli join the queue, there is a space over there?

There always seems to be an expert or someome who does not want to go with sometime the only solution?

cheers

Funny how 90% of these Green Protesters are from nice middle class families and can afford to travel half way round the world if necessary, just to unfurl a stupid banner.

They don't like nuclear, they don't like coal, they don't like cars, they don't like carrier bags - they're just a bunch of stupid cunts who've been indoctrinated by the green propaganda.

They've bought into a lifestyle, the lifestyle that stops ordinary folk from enjoying themselves cheaply --- but these selfish bastards then still have the money to do the things others can't then afford, driving in their hybrid cars, planting a couple of trees every time they jet off to the Greek Islands or the Caribbean.

But in the end it's all worth it - the poor will know their place and stop clogging the damn roads and airports  And they can pose in their stupid little glasses as they sip on a Skinny Latte at the local Starbucks, whilst they dream up the next environmental protest jaunt.

I saw an ethical holiday site the other day ? you go for a two week holiday in some third world destination and help them build a well or a tin-roofed shack --- BUT you have to pay ?1500 for the privilege! Am I missing something here, you actually pay to work?
If you stop a coal power station being built does it really mean anything in the great scheme of things?
The usual, crappy excuse: "Whatever we do, it won't make a difference when China are doing this, and the USA are doing that....and oh, look at the Indians, etc...."

You going out drink-driving, tonight, and smashing a young couple through a shop window won't affect the annual deaths account too much either. You get my point?

Personally i dont mind if they do build another coal power station as we all use electricity and it has to come from somewhere, my problem with it is that this goverment are hitting us with green taxes to try and convince us this will make a difference but then go and give permission for a new coal power station, so what is the point of the green taxes just another excuse for greedy Gordon to grab more of our money !thumbsdown!

Shame this site does not have a word count. As most of my posts get "flammed" is that is the term, by those who jugde themsleves to be better than me...

If the educated "greens" are so "Right" why do they not get business on board, and maybe stop Brason's rich Rocket trips?
Why do they not try to have MP's , who are trur , upstanding members instead of the cunt in Power now?

OK here is a question; what do you know about current coal fired power station technology?

As I understand it these new power stations use CCS technology to make them clean, thats Carbon Capture and Storage along with Flue gas desulphursation, low NOx burners and electrostatic precipitators.

So our power station is clean, what about the taxes?

Well the existence of chronic congestion in the UK while fuel tax is one of the highest in the world (67% of the purchase price) demonstrates how little demand is suppressed through taxation. We all still drive our cars, we moan, but we still drive.

So as a tool for fixing the environment, green taxes don?t appear to take you far unless they are high ? very high. That means that you have to tax something ?bad? so much that it isn?t worthwhile for many people to do it ? so to go back to my driving analogy, this has to be so expensive, people would rather choose to spend the money on something else rather than fund the government. So if you don't like the Government go green, if there is no pollution to tax, they don't get your hard earned.

And i can tell you where the green tax money is being spent as the goverment has made millions extra available to Kent Police to take on these green protesters, in fact they have saturated the area on the Hoo Penisular with police from around the country they now outnumber the protesters, so it seems that the green taxes are being spent to take on the greens, its a funny old world.
