Tories push for more surveillance

Post by randyandy »

But I thought Green Dave thought David Davis was a wonderful chap !confused!

Another whoops-a-daisy or is confidence of victory enabling them to show their true colours?

They can say what they like now and get elected. The media want labour out and when that happens the party in power have no chance. Prepare yourself for hard right wing rule by privaleged snobs. Could take 8 years to get them out. Extra survelliance is only the beginning, workers rights would be on of the first things to go down the pan.

"Prepare yourself for hard right wing rule by privileged snobs"

I thought that's what we have had for the last 10 years!
My right to a decent pension has already gone thanks to the one eyed thieving porridge wog.

Andy,
It seems that you have the choice between the Labcon or Conlab parties with the propaganda saying that the Liberals would only be the same!
All of you are on the Big Brother show every day and as technology advances BB being an insatiable voyeur wants more and more images to satiate his perverse desires.
My only advice is you better run, run, run!

I just want to check I've got this right.

A political party is claiming to put more police on the streets, and you're all acting as though its the end of the world?

I'm sorry but what, precisely, do you expect to lose from this? Yes there is a large amount of CCTV but why should that bother you unless you're actively engaged in a criminal act?

Similarly the report states that all that will happen is an amendment to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act. This piece of legislation does not actually give any specific powers of surveillance, rather it confirms what paperwork needs to be completed prior to the surveillance being carried out. The surveillance and investigatory techniques of the police will not be changed by this amendment, simply the speed with which they can be arranged.

I'd love to stay and chat but you're a total bitch.

The Tory police state, Stewart. Does this not frighten you in any way?
