His sole task was to kick a football into the crowd. When he was interviewed he was jokingly told that it mush have been tough for him to aim his shot !. Jokingly he said it was more difficult to avoid dropping the ball.
Holding a ball without dropping it and kicking a ball into the crowd is obviously a tough call for one of the the worlds greatest footballers.

I didn't watch any of the Olympics - but it certainly says something about the UK when 60% of our medals were won by contestants who attended public school, when about 90% of the population don't go to such schools.
