If you thought BGAFD censorship was bad!

Post by jimslip »

Today I asked a couple of questions on an Apple discussion forum. At the end of my post I simply said, "Can anybody answer my question, before I smash my Imac into a thousand pieces LOL?" and guess what, within about 5 minutes this section had been "removed by moderator". Presumably, the idea that anyone might ever wish to smash an Apple computer is unacceptable to the guy who does up the top button of his shirt!

I always suspected Apple folk to be a bit weird and I think I'm right! I've locked and bolted the front door, as I am now expecting a visit from the staff of my local Apple store, for, "Re-educating"

You had the temerity to address an apple forum !! wtf were you thinking Jim
you should have pre-empted your post by stating that 'no imac's were distressed in the making of this post' before even saying hello.
Forget locking the door now, it's way too late, the man in the I'mac a.k.a 'Mad-Macx is on his way, and it's xp city for you mate.

I got a macbook that I use a placemat, fucking useless heap of shit, even the guy at the mac shop couldnt sort the heap out, they just wanted to replace the hard drive and start from scratch and erase 300gb of video because macshitos wouldnt boot or anything.

It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?

Why not get it repaired and sell it then?

If you fill the hard drive then any operating system, including OS X will have trouble booting up.

My last post was actually bumped off. My crime? I hear you ask, well I suggested that Macs are beset by much the same problems as PC's are, so why do Mac Sales staff suggest that you'll never have a problem on a Mac and life for you will be forever happy.

Well that was enough to have me banned! Behaviour reminiscent of a Muslim/Christian Fundamentalist don't you think and you have to ponder, whether, if they were allowed, would Apple staff actually come over and execute me for my heinous crime?

The ad claimed "...all the parts of the internet are on the iphone," but conveniently didn't mention it doesn't support either Flash or Java, thus compromising it's internet capabilities.

The ban followed a number of complaints.

Cataclean

Likewise, has anyone else seen the shopping TV informercials for Cataclean, the 'wonder' CAT cleaning fluid.

I thought it looked too good to be true- when Ofcom got involved, they duly banned the informercial on the basis huge chunks of its claims could not be proven.

Of course, you can still buy the crap online- because on the Internet, there are no rules. Just mug punters.

Actually only 2 complaints.

compare the iPhone to pretty much any other web-enabled mobile phone - ou will find it has much better support.
