There is an unpleasant comfort in knowing who the racists and bigots are.

I would rather know who the potential enemies were than not but can understand there are those in a more sensitive disposition than myself who would rather remain unnoffended.

To quote Dr Spock: "The needs of the many outweigh the neeeds of the one"

We all know that a lot of people cannot compose themselves when incensed with rage (yeah I know Ive done it on a couple of occasions) but nowadays I tend to disregard first time "grenade launching" trolls and prefer to respond to more established posters or people I know.

What does eveeryone else think?

Ok someone not a million miles away from this forum has corrected me on the Dr Spock thing.

I always thought the Dr Spock child rearer specialist from the 60's and author of such books was the same chap as Leonard Nimoy who played Mr Spock on the Star Trek TV series (and subequent movies).

My only education on this was merely seeing a book in the movie "Raising Arizona"

I would like to apologise to any Trekkies I have offended with my ignorance.

Now..back to the issue at hand...
