Another tendency in American porn.

Post by zigsuk »

Another observation about modern American porn. Has anyone noticed the tendency for the cameraman/director to become more and more visible? Or even if he isn't visible we can more often than not hear him these days. This is even in lesbian films.

I am basically only interested in lesbian porn as I don't want to see blokes in my movies so I find this particularly annoying. Even if he isn't involved in the action I still find his presence or voice intrusive.

Again this is a modern innovation. Lesbian films in the 70's, 90's and much of the 90's were just that, without intrusive blokes!

Can they become like that again? Because I'm sick of trying to wattch a film with two or more cuties getting it on only to have it ruined by the appearance of the bloody cameraman or the sound of his sleazy voice!

If the trend gets anything like a lot of Italian porn, it'll be unwatchable. Because the idea was to overdub soundtracks the producer just used to shout his directions, chat with the cameraman, answer his mobile, talk about lunch, radio blaring out Euro pop music etc. etc. The dubbed product is bad enough, because nobody wants dubbed porn --- BUT when they decide to release an un-dubbed version, the background cacophony is just so off-putting. In a way the background activity becomes more interesting that the movie itself, because you can't believe someone would make a movie with so much rubbish going on just off camera.
