It's all a con. If someone is losing money somebody else is making it. We can't all be struggling to make ends meet. It's just the rich imposing their own sanctions out on the rest of us so they can widen the poverty gap again. I bet you any money you like that the boss of that Yank bank and the Airline company boss here still have very large houses etc even though their companies went bust.

The problem is that we continuously let them get away with it time and time again.

Don't know if they have a price match, but I've always interpreted 'Never Knowingly Undersold' to mean we'll charge you as much as we can get away with. JL just sells everything at an over inflated price, it's one shop that really deserves to go bankrupt - along with House of Fraser.

i used to work as a buyer for JL and as much as it was like being in the twilight zone working for them they really are a very genuine bunch.
i dont shop with them now so i dont know how there prices compair but rip off is not a statement id ever believe possible for JL.

how JL has succeded for so long in the business world with there ethical trading missions is beyond me.
when i worked from them they didnt even open on a monday ffs!

I stopped using Tescos when I went to buy some Birds Eye Simply Cod, a couple of months ago. Usual pack of 4 were ?3.54 in the usual cabinet. But the sly cunts had got Birds Eye to make them some special offer packs of TWO and priced them at ?3.50 each ---- but they were on special at HALF PRICE of ?1.75. So the half price offer saved you a whole four pence - such a joke that I went and did my shopping at Morrisons and haven't been back.

I could identify various industries/businesses which have money, are growing and which are able to offer financial remuneration to those that do it's bidding. Not necesarily a good thing, though.

Vote with your feet people. The price may be higher, but what is the longer-term cost if you don't?
