I didn't hear or see Hughes's comment Andy but what a class act he is (shame he was a red though) and what a superb comment to make.

I would like to add that Emma - what a top bird you are speaking so intelligently about footie. Great to hear your views.

Your better off not being in the mickey mouse competition anyway
Trophies are nice but not as important as qualifying for Europe

Judging by the shots on goal/target(22/11)
Man City has enough chances

Shit happens if you dont put them away

I see Aston Villa lost 0-1 at home to QPR

wenger worried about the state of our national game??

lol....dont make me laugh

He`s just concerned that city will come knocking up the likes of fabregas and adebayor come january and he may be forced to sell. The double standards todays top managers employ is beyond ridiculous.

Had arsenal of come across this kind of major investment he would be shouting from the rooftops and signing every player in the world whos name ends in "o".

The current owners at man city keep banging on about how they`ll mantain the clubs traditional values and invest in the youth policy despite the fact they made 9 30million+ bids on transfer deadline day and have allegedly told mark hughes he needs 16 new players??

Guarantee the only englishmen playing for citeh this time next year will be worth 30million odd and in the prime of their careers and the likes of hart, onuoha and maybe even richards will be forced to find 1st team football elsewhere!!

I think the word allegedly says it all with regard to the owners interfering in transfer policy hammer4life and advising Hughes he needs another 16 players, (was it in The Sun by any chance?? lola).. Have a read of the letter from the owner to the fans that Dave Wells posted the link to and that will tell you the reality of the situation..

As for the Brighton match, I think Hughes got his selection wrong, but let's not forget he is new at the club and still finding out about some of the fringe players, this was a good chance to see some of them in action and to be fair, the likes of Caceido, Ball, Ben Haim, and Schmeichel may well be looking for other clubs come January..but credit to Brighton, they wanted it more, and we switched off when we should have buried them after going one nil up..European football is more important to City this season than a league cup run and I am sure you will see a much stronger side next Thursday against Omonia for the second leg at Eastlands..

you are so wrong adebayor could gone to in the summer and to abigger club than city also wenger was offered money to spend in the summer but he did not spend he choses to buy players that most of not heard of and makes them stars on the side of investment we are offered it all the time but we turn it down didnt citys buyers have alot of other clubs in mind first us being one of them , the way i see it they just wanted to buy a club didnt matter which one .

i for one am glad we have not been taken over just look at what happened to morinho at chelsea abronavich got rid of him after all that success and then grant on the verge of winning the league champions league final but still got the boot , i love wenger to bits his work has been amazing and he has spent next to nothing i would be so upset if a foreign investor comes in and we dont win the league what would happen would they sack our most succesfull manager? i fear for hughes at man city i reckon he has less then 18 months for instant results otherwise bye bye

ask yourselves this is that the future of football that you want

love to all emma butt hope i have not offended anyone here
