no benefit for 3 years....

if you turn down 3 jobs,in tory Britain,if Cameron gets in. I have heard of being tough on dole claimants, but if this going way beyond anything a civilised society should be proposing??Destitution awaits many surely.

Agreed Colonel. What is some poor sap who can't read or write who is used as fodder by some tart at the dole office who wants to get him off her lists going to do? Rabbit in headlights springs to mind. When will tories realise some peopleCANNOT get jobs, like it or not. Seems they want these people to starve to death.

The Tories ramble on about 'Freedom' and 'Choice'.

It is Freedom for them
It is Choice for them

It is Tyranny for the rest of us.

Let's not forget that. Not for one minute.

Many companies have a policy that if you are to be re-deployed and refuse 3 jobs, you are then deemed as having terminated your employment.

Provided the jobs offered to people satisfy the following criteria, I can't see a problem :-

1. Suitable to the individuals skills set
2. Offer a decent wage
3. Don't mean the individuals can get to / from the job

However, this will need to be put in place with a way to retrain people to have marketable skills.

Whilst the majority of people who are unemployed are genuinely looking for work, there are always a handful of people who aren't or can't.

Just my thoughts.

This actually a bad version of a good idea.

Their conference has been a good watch, they've suggested lots of good things, the audience have whooped and clapped as usual but the ideas when thought about have in most cases been a lot of old impractical crap.

End to gimmicks and Punch and Judy politics, my arse.
