Oil $86 a Barrel

Post by JonnyHungwell »

And still petrol is ?1.07 a litre here. The pound has dropped against the dollar, but even so - the price should surely be more like 90p a litre?

I know they give all this b/s about buying months in advance and it takes time to filter through --- although it seems to filter through almost instantly when the oil price is rising.

Only one way to sum it up - the oil companies are greedy bastards who want to rip us off.

I don't think it will ever drop below the ?1 a litre as that was a barrier that the government believed the public won't pay any more...but we did and so it won't go below again.......

also the gap between petrol and diesel is now looking at staying at 11/12p a litre more......due to the lack of refining space...and the fact that the USA doesn't need diesel so theres not the investment.
