Do female staff ever exist in Indian Restaurants

Indian restautants are complaing that there is a serious shortage of decent Indian cooks and they want permision to get more from India.

Erm. Why dont they just utlilise female members of their family. Strangely, female staff dont seem to be allowed as waiters or cooks. Women arent even allowed in the kitchen so it seems.

Has anyone ever seen any female staff in an Indian restaurant ?

Also what happens to the females in an Indian family who own an Indian restaurant. Do they have a top secret hide out or what ?

Surely if they want more cooks why cant they train some of the millions of Asians who are already here.

If we want doctors we train them.

If we want engineers we train them.

Surely it would not be that difficult for the Asian community to train people to be chefs.

Methinks yet another excuse to bring more of their family over here

You don't get many female waiters in real Italian restaurants either. In the case of Indians, it's because they're totally sexist - same with the Italians.

As for them not being able to get enough chefs from India - wtf does that matter, when the food they make here is nothing like the real food they make in India? Plenty of lazy fookers on benefits could mix the slop up in the vats they use. There doesn't look much art in preparing Indian food, just add loads of curry powder and nobody can taste much else anyway - and as for presentation, there isn't any. It's about as skilful as flipping burgers.

The real reason the restaurant trade are upset is they can't bring in uneducated Indians to work for ?1.20 an hour.

Yes thats true.
I worked with two indians once and the food they brought in for thier lunch(home made by the way) is nothing like the restaurant crap.
The taste was so much better and dishes you have never heard of before.

Back in the late 80's I played football for Indian Gymkana (just off of the Great West Road). I was the ONLY white guy in a very good size. Anyway our manager (Indian guy) was also one of my big drinking buddies (big time) and was always chasing after any models that I might have in tow. He shagged two to be exact. And one day whilst joking around I asked him "well mate, you have now had two 'white' birds, isn't it time you resipricated the deal here a bit and brought me a couple of Indian girlies". He looked at me with utter disgust and said "No fuckin way would I ever fuck an Indian bird". He was practising reverse racism here ! In other words he can fuck who he wanted but not me. And as far as he was concerned his women were for bringing up his children, washing, cleaning etc. Not for dirty porno bastards like me to chase !

They are very rare, but I do remember two waitresses in Indian restaurants: one in Kirkwall (Orkney) and one in Vienna.

I once had a Female Tikka Massala very nice it was as well ... think it was pure breast meat - so yes to answer your question yeah female staff do definately exist in Indian Restaurants*
