NEWS FLASH:

Saw Jon Gaunt at milton Keynes station..........he looked a worried man, not his normal confident self...............i bet losing his talksport income has knocked the wind out of him...............it will also hit his book sales as he can't "advertise" his signings etc. or plug cyprus.

Am sure he'll bounce back

It must have come as a shock to him, seeing he has his stone clad house in 5 different colours, children at private school, his jag and 4wd Volvo, his property in Cyprus etc. etc. to support. What he said probably deserved some sort of reprimand, but not the termination of his contract. Trouble is when you fly high and make a living by being controversial - the fall can come quick and have devastating consequences. I'm sure someone will employ him on another radio show, although they'll probably take advantage of his position to pay him less than he was previously earning.
