We see this simplistic argument ascribing "most of the world's problems to religion" all the time. The 20th century was the most bloody in known history- literally 10s of millions of people were killed at the hands of other men. How many of the 100 million + deaths were a consequence of religion or religious endeavour? Not many. You can't even put holocaust deaths into that category as the Nazis treated "Jewishness" as a racial designation. So far this century how many deaths have been caused by religion? A few thousand? How many have been caused by "national interest"? Tens, if not hundreds. of thousands. It's time we got real and stopped being so simplistic.

We've always known that religious people have, and will always have, an objection to homosexuality. There are those who choose to make "modern interpretations" of religious traditions and those who stick to their old ideals. Who cares?

You can try to control free will but it will lonly lead to disastrous consequences.

Thisworld is already fucked because of sex being warped by religion anyway. I think the Vatican must relaise it is slowly losing control in the western world as more people become emanicpated from this form of institutionalised belief.

Mind you like sex , religion is a personal issue and if it works for some thats fine but this faux pas is not going to win them any new friends..but then that might be the plan.

I can bet deep down the vatican despises the gay and lesbian section of its followers for being in contradiction to its teachings. Best do it the old fashioned way then and keep a lid on it eh?
