Gordon " i am saving the world" brown has taken his backboneless cabinet, thats people not the furniture, to liverpool. This "storming" idea was for the government to meet the people and feel their pain !!

Just on Sky news a liverpool police spokesman confirmed that the policing bill for today will hit 6 figures !

Good old one eye he has never understood the value of money !!

It would be interesting to see what the Audit Commission could, if it were allowed to, say about these inflated 'security' costings that plod is allowed to put in. The police know that they will never be called to account for, and justify, the spending, inconvenience caused etc.
