R.I.P David Vine
The 'face of snooker' died on sunday
Re: R.I.P David Vine
A sad loss indeed, and let's not forget he was the first chairman of A Question of Sport
Is it any wonder that the monkey's confused?

Will always remember him for walking out on the late night C4 show Under the Moon when Danny Kelly opened the interview with. "So David, let's face it, snooker has gone rubbish since the players have stopped taking mountains of cocaine."
Nice jumpers though.

I sort of vaguely recall the name. Never been a sport fan.

Re: R.I.P David Vine
The face of snooker? More like the face of BBC Sport. Another part of my life gone- rest in peace, David.
Re: R.I.P David Vine
He used to present snooker in the days when the bbc treated their audience like adults,he was a great presenter. Watching the snooker on the beeb these days its like a 5yr olds beginners guide, completely dumbed down.
Re: R.I.P David Vine
Me neither keen on sport but i did watch a bit last night waiting for a burger to be delivered i do find Snooker relaxing to watch.JonnyHungwell wrote:
