It's all best viewed as a sick game. These people don't actually have any principles, the stance they adopt in Parliament is as false as a staged 6th Form Debate and they all have good mates in the opposition whom they have their duty-free drinks with.
What Cameron is doing is installing a few good 'game players' so that they can do well in their 6th Form debates (sorry, PARLIAMENTARY DISCUSSIONS)

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

Keep hearing that KC has been brought back to take on the Medlesome Lord but how can this be when Mandleson sits in the Lords & does not speak from the despatch box in the Commons?.

I watched a bit of a debate on the Parliament channel yesterday when the subject was the Dept For Business, the Lib Dem spokesman asked why the DFB has 5 ministers 4 of whom sit in the Lords & are not accountable to the Commons & can not be questioned on the floor of the house, the representative of the DFB in the Commons is a junior Minister & is only able to answer questions of which prior notice has been given, & by inference Mandleson has provided the answers, & this is democracy?

b217bravo. No such thing as democracy. As Ken Livingstone said in the 1980's "If voting changed anything they'd abolish it". It's true.
