It happened in Oz way back in the early 80's during a tennis broadcast. The official explanation claimed that a technician at one of the rebroadcasting stations had been watching a porn movie and accidentally switched the signal through the main broadcast system.
Now, I dont know anything about how TV stations worked nearly 30 years ago, but this explanation sounds like crap. Sounds like a pissed off technician prank to me.
